By the use of natural materials such as wood, natural stone and concrete floors (heated in winter) the villa breathes an understated luxury. The furniture and wardrobes are handmade of recycled wood and create an eco-chic design. The white marble kitchen top comes from the Alentejo. Plates and dishes were locally sourced and made by Portuguese craftsmen.
The long white villa is constructed with stylish simplicity. As a recyclable light steel frame with highly isolated walls, the house is built with a strong focus on sustainability. Solar panels heat the water and the building. All wastewater is biologically purified and reused in the garden.
It’s a perfect relaxing retreat to share with family and friends. The villa has 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, one with a bath, all with walk-in showers. Huge kitchen windows open to the pool area and the outdoor dining table.
Indoor and outdoor living become one. Casa Mú has a fully equipped kitchen with its large cooking island and inviting barstools that look onto the rural surroundings and offers magnificent views over the ocean. Lounge beds and beanbags around the pool are ideal to relax, or just hang out and enjoy holidays in the sun.
Right in the heart of the Algarve, the house is well located to experience all the region has to offer. We had the most amazing stay here, Matthijs was easy to communicate with and super helpful. Easy to get around by Ubers/Bolt, great location.
We had a great stay at Casa Mu, feeling right at home immediately! The entire villa is lovely, particularly the outside living space and gorg sea view. The villa was spotlessly clean and everything is in great condition. Highly recommended!
Beautiful villa and great host. The villa was stunning, perfect for our stay. Amazing views! The host and villa manager were great with communication, very helpful. If you go to stay here I’d recommend a car if you want to do lots of exploring as not close to much, however beautiful walks nearby and the villa was so beautiful and amazing this did not bother us. The bins were quite far away so we struggled with this and our Bolt driver was very angry about taking us there, so keep this in mind! Great stay, beautiful villa, great hosts.
