Wonderful place to call home for a week. So clean, great distance to shops and eateries, super comfortable bed, showers really good. Very modern and clean. Outdoor space was beautiful and comfortable too. Would stay again. Thank you for having us
We really enjoyed our stay. The accommodation is pretty amazing. Great open plan space and very well furnished. You’ll find everything you need here and with the local town being small is walking distance to beaches, bars and restaurants. Definitely recommend a car to get around outside of the town though. Host was very responsive and any issues we had sent people over right away to fix them. Would 100% recommend and we’ll likely be back 🙂
We had a great stay at Matthij’s house in Ferragudo. The house is beautifully furnished and very practical. Parking just outside the house on the street. The weather was pretty bad during our stay, so we didn’t get to use the beautiful backyard as much as we would have liked to. The listing should probably mention that the house is located right on a street with quite a bit of traffic during daytime. We figured this out from reading other reviews prior to booking, so no surprise. There was also a rooster close to the house that was active from very early in the morning. Some might find that annoying, but we found it charming 🙂 We can highly recommend staying with Matthijs!
The Villa was lovely and as described, you just had to be careful exiting on to the small street. Ample parking just opposite, across the small canal. Communication with Yannick was very good. We had no problems. Just five minutes walk from several good restaurants. Water Taxi to Portimao just a 10 minute walk. Several little beaches, again walking distance. Ferragudo is the type of local place we like when staying abroad. Not too touristy. Well recommended.
Absolutely loved our stay here over Christmas. Responsive host. Immaculate property with stunning attention to detail. Very well appointed and very homely.
We had 5 days of combined work and vacation, this was a perfect choice of accommodation. The place is renovated, light and all the necessary things are there if you don’t want to eat out every day or also want to relax at ‘home’. Perfect location if you drive around the area e.g. hiking, easy and free parking, little city sqaure/harbor walking distance away. Highly recommended!
