We arrived late, driving along the dirt track was a bit daunting. We would have benefited from some written instructions. Beautiful, peaceful location. Ideally located for Silves/Portimao with a car. We enjoyed exploring as much as laying by the pool. Kitchen is fully fitted, but knifes were not the sharpest and the fridge was struggling to keep things cold at times. Pool is fab, but 1 small umbrella is not enough. The daybed was great, but like a greenhouse. Another umbrella or 2 would be perfect. It location got windy in the afternoons, a welcome relief from the heat, but the umbrella could not cope so zero shade. Beautifully decorated inside. Housekeeper was superb at communicating and made a delicious and most unexpected welcome pack- thankyou Sara!

This place is stunning. The views in every direction are out of this world. The property, especially the outside space, has amazing attention to detail and feels like a 5 star hotel all to yourself. It’s large, very relaxing and a perfect place to spend a week. We will miss dozing on the outdoor bed in the afternoon. Sara, who let us in, was also very helpful and responsive. We hope to return ASAP.
The stay was great. Sara took very good care of us and was quick to respond and helpful with any questions that came up. The villa is secluded, so it’s very peaceful. It’s very nice for relaxing. A car is recommended. All in all, our time in the villa was wonderful and I would recommend it to everyone.
Matthijs’ place was absolutely out of this world. Our family of 4, 9 and 13 year-olds thoroughly enjoyed everything about the place, especially the pool. Thank you so much!
